ТЕМА УРОКА: My Favourite Book.
ЦЕЛИ УРОКА:
1.Тренировать учащихся в чтении, в говорении.
2.Развивать грамматические навыки Past Simple.
3.Познакомить учащихся с известными писателями Британии.
ТИП УРОКА: ПАРНАЯ ГРУППОВАЯ ИНДИВИДУАЛЬНАЯ.
ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: Задание на карточках.
ХОД УРОКА.
1. Организационный момент.
:Good morning, dear students!
I’m glad to see you. Let’s begin our lesson. Sit down, please!
Please, answer my questions (ответы обучающихся):
What date is it today?
What day of the week is it today?
What season is it now?
2. Сообщение темы и целей урока.
Today we are going to speak about your favourite book.
At the beginning of our lesson I am going to check your homework.
3. Проверка домашнего задания.
Стихотворение.
4. Навыки письма. (Диктант).
Books in our life. Books play a very important role in our life. There is no family that doesn`t have books at home.We learn a lot of interesting things from books. They help us in self-education, and they give the best advice how to solve problems in our life. And it is so great to visit the magical world of books!
There are a lot of authors and fictional characters which are famous all over the world. As for me, I am especially fond of reading "Alice in Wonderland" .Books teach us to be kind and clever, brave and honest. To my mind, no computer can replace a live and rich language of our favourite books!
Speaking about books, Maxim Gorky, the talented Russian writer, once said the following, "They have made the world much wider for me… My life has become happier, it has become richer… Books give us new knowledge, and knowledge makes us better." These words are the best description of the role of books in our life, aren`t they?
5. Грамматика.
Раскройте скобки, употребляя глаголы в Past Simple.

| Mike: Hello, Selena. It's nice to see you! How are you? |

| Selena: Hello, Mike. I'm fine, thank you. And how are you? |

| Mike: I'm very well, thank you. Where are you going? |
|
|
| Selena: I'm going to the library. I want to spend a couple of hours there. |
|
|
| Mike: What will you be doing there for such a long time? |
|
|
| Selena: It's not much, Time simply flies when I'm at the library. First of all I need to find some materials for my home work assignment. Then I want to read one book in French. And, when I finish, I'll find an interesting book for daily reading. I can borrow it from the library and return after I finish reading. |

| Mike: You said a book in French. Are there many books in foreign languages? |

| Selena: Yes, there are. It's a large library of international literature. That's why I often visit it. Just out of curiosity I once tried to read book in Japanese, but failed of course. |

| Mike: Do they have books written in rare languages? |
|
|
| Selena: Well, I've never asked for one, but I saw several books in Latin on the shelves. |
