HOROSCOPE

1. When were you born?

Who are you ye the horoscope?

1. Read your horoscope (not the whole text!) If you need help, feel free to ask any teacher (Could you help me Miss/ Sir/ Madam?)

2. Say , what the horoscope says about you and if you believe it or not.

Model:

I was born on the 28th of November. So by horoscope I’m Sagittarius (Latin) or the Archer (English). The horoscope says, I’m sociable, enthusiastic, initiative and well-organized. It also says, the Archer needs praise and hates limitation in any form. I think it’s true/It’s not always so, because sometimes I’m lazy and I don’t care if other people praise me or not. Horoscopes are fun but I can’t take them seriously/ Horoscopes are great and I believe in them.

1. Start interviewing other people in class. Mind:

-the eye-contact; greeting; (Oh, excuse me, would you like to discuss your horoscope/ Oh, let’s discuss our horoscopes)

- asking about your partner’s horoscope; (When were you born? Who are you by the horoscope?)

- speaking about your own attitude to horoscopes (As for me, I don’t believe in horoscopes/ Actually, I like horoscopes and I think that I believe in them)

-saying thanks and goodbye

-filling out the chart (start with yourself)

1. Now say,

• How many people are Aquarius, Pisces, etc.

• How many people are of the same stars as yours

• How many people believe/do not believe horoscopes

1. Report your results to a teacher.
