Global warming

Global warming is a long-term rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and by multiple effects of the warming. Over the past 100 years, the average temperature on Earth has increased by 1 degree.

Orbital forcing

The term "forcing" signifies a physical process that affects the Earth's climate. Orbital forcing is the effect on climate of slow changes in the tilt of the Earth's axis and shape of the orbit (Milankovitch cycles).

This mechanism is believed to be responsible for the timing of the ice age cycles. Our planet enters and exits the ice age every hundred thousand years.

The CO2 content in the atmosphere is increasing due to industrial production . The content of this gas in the atmosphere is 400 particles per million. The threshold value is 450 particles. The temperature will change by 2 degrees. Under the current situation, by 2040 year the average annual temperature will rise by two degrees .

As a result of climate warming, the ice cover of the Northern hemisphere is continuously decreasing.
